The following extracts are taken from a recent major independent survey
to establish car driver attitudes towards car park ticket advertising.

51% of car users are social class ABC1, 49% C2DE.

64% of car users are in full or part time employment.

80% of car users have bought a pay & display ticket in the last six months.

58% of pay & display customers use the car park at least 3 times every
fortnight.

78% of people use car park facilities to go shopping.

57% of pay & display users remembered advertising campaigns on car park
tickets, and 75% of this sample could remember specific promotional offers.

Other characteristics of car owners included:

A greater likelihood of children being present.

A greater propensity to hold mortgages.

More likely to be users of satellite only for TV.
